Saudi Arabia Chairs Mondiacult 2022 Regional Consultations

Ahead of the Mondiacult 2022 conference in Mexico, which takes place in September for the first time in 24 years, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia chaired the regional consultations in Paris on February 16-17.

One of five such meetings held over the previous few months, the consultations chaired by the Kingdom were dedicated to the Arab States, and addressed adapting the cultural sector (which accounts for over 6% of all employment worldwide) in its responses to the most pressing challenges of sustainable development.
