Vision 2030

Launched in 2016, Vision 2030 is the Kingdom’s strategic roadmap divided under three categories: Ambitious Nation, Thriving Economy, and Vibrant Society. Through the Vision, numerous reforms have been passed to diversify the Saudi economy, unlock new sectors and investment opportunities, and enable citizens and businesses to unleash their full potential.

Visit Saudi seeks to work with relevant partners to make Saudi Arabia a world-class tourist destination, facilitating visas and sharing classic Arabic hospitality with the global community. It is a hub for visitors to plan trips, discover new adventures and see everything the Kingdom has to offer.

Ministry of Culture

Since its launch in 2018, the Ministry of Culture has been hard at work in developing the Kingdom’s cultural landscape. Notably, 11 dedicated commissions created in 2020 address different themes:
– the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission
– the Heritage Commission
– the Film Commission
– the Visual Arts Commission
– the Museums Commission
– the Theater and Performing Arts Commission
– the Libraries Authority
– the Music Commissions
– the Architecture and Design Commission
– the Fashion Commission and the Culinary Arts Commission

Ministry of Education

Preparing a future generation of thinkers and doers, the Saudi Ministry of Education is mandated with ensuring that future generations have all the tools at their disposal to achieve their dreams. Overseeing primary, secondary and higher education, the Ministry ensures that all of today’s students are ready for the jobs of tomorrow.

General Sports Authority (Ministry of Sport)

Established in 1974, the General Sports Authority aims to encourage sports and physical activity for every citizen and resident of the Kingdom, making sports accessible to all while promoting new sporting events within the Kingdom. It runs all 153 multi-sports clubs within the country, as well as the Saudi Olympic Committee and all 30 Saudi sports Federations, and represents Saudi Arabian sports at the international level.

MiSK Foundation

Founded by HRH the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the MiSK foundation is a non-profit organization devoted to cultivating young talent while encouraging learning and leadership. The MiSK foundation focuses on youth empowerment and development through education and entrepreneurship, culture and creative arts, and science and technology.

Mawhiba

The King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity is a non-profit organization tasked with identifying and nurturing gifted students in STEM fields. To date, Mawhiba has identified more than 97,000 gifted students and granted sponsorships to over 54,000 students, ensuring proper investment and empowerment to grow the Kingdom’s exceptional talent.

DGDA

The Diriyah Gate Development Authority is mandated with preserving, celebrating, and developing the iconic landmark of Diriyah into a top global attraction which all Saudis can feel proud of, in a threefold approach: preserving the At-Turaif World Heritage Site, transforming Diriyah into a global gathering place, and finally empowering its community.

RCU

The Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) was established to protect and safeguard AlUla, a region of outstanding natural and cultural significance in North-West Saudi Arabia. RCU is embarking on a long-term plan to develop and deliver a sensitive, sustainable transformation of the region, reaffirming it as one of country’s most important archaeological and cultural destinations and preparing it to welcome visitors from around the world.

Sports For All

The Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA) is the main body responsible for developing community sports and is mandated with achieving a target of raising physical activity levels in Saudi Arabia to 40% by 2030.

Ministry of Information and Technology

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology works on building a solid digital foundation that rises to the level of international standards, which contributes to creating many job opportunities in the technology field, raising the GDP and working to develop strategic plans to keep abreast of modern developments and technologies at the national, regional and global levels, honing modern digital skills for an advanced digital economy, in addition to providing effective support to government systems and platforms.

SDAIA

The Saudi Data and AI Authority unlocks the value of data as a national asset to realize Vision 2030’s aspirations by setting the national data and AI strategy and overseeing its execution through harmonized data policies, data analytics and insights capabilities, and continuous data and AI innovations.

KACST

KACST conducts both scientific and applied research to enable innovative technological developments that provide for scientific expertise and national development. It also plays a major role in planning science and technology activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, preparing national plans for science, technology and innovation, participating in the implementation and supporting scientific research programs and application-based flagship projects.

KAUST

KAUST aspires to be a destination for scientific and technological education and research. By inspiring discoveries to address global challenges, we strive to serve as a beacon of knowledge that bridges people and cultures for the betterment of humanity.

Ministry of Tourism

The Ministry of Tourism’s purpose is to activate tourism as a major sector in the country’s storied development, increasing investment opportunities and creating jobs for local communities, while protecting, developing and promoting the remarkable tourism sites and experiences within the country.
